00 — Overview
R10 reference application. Built from the v0.14 Work & Supply reference pack. A simulator: document numbers look like SAP's, but nothing here talks to a real ERP. The demo data is fictional.
What the simulator does
Purchase order (Purchasing) ──► purchase commitment, SAP PO number ──► told back to Purchasing
Goods accepted (Inventory) ──┐
Supplier invoice ─────────────┴► invoice match ──► AP liability ──► payment status
Purchasing owns the order, Inventory owns what physically arrived and whether it was accepted, Supplier owns the supplier. SAP AP owns only the finance records: commitments, invoices, match results, AP documents, accounting entries and payment state.
The 12 models
Invoices (3) - SupplierInvoice — the supplier's invoice: their number, the order, dates, net / GST / gross, status (received → matched / exception → posted → paid), duplicate check. - SupplierInvoiceLine — what is billed per order line. - SupplierCreditMemo — a credit from the supplier, traceable to its source (a warranty recovery or a supplier issue).
Matching (4) - InvoiceMatch — one comparison of an invoice with the order and its accepted receipts, under a policy; a new run supersedes the last unposted one. - InvoiceMatchLine — per line: ordered, accepted, invoiced, prices, variances, result. - MatchException — what stops an invoice: quantity, price, value, missing receipt, not yet accepted, duplicate. - InvoiceMatchPolicy — the rules: two-way, goods three-way, four-way (inspection acceptance), tolerances, auto-approval.
AP & payment (3) - ApTransaction — an AP document (51…): invoice liability, payment, credit memo. - AccountingEntry — its simulated debits and credits. - PaymentStatus — not due / due / scheduled / paid / held.
ERP commitments (2) - PurchaseCommitment — the order's commitment and its SAP PO number (45008…). - ExternalDocumentMapping — which SAP document number belongs to which network record. - AssetCoding — which cost centre and ledger account a unit is charged to, picked from the Asset Register's asset search. The cost centre belongs to finance, not the Register. At least one of the two codes is required, and the periods of one asset may not overlap (an empty date is open-ended). It is not published on the network.
